Spanish Immersion Summer camp
Bienvenidos Amigos a Nuestro Super y Muy Divertido Campamento de Verano 2024! Campers learn the Spanish language by being exposed to numerous fun, age-appropriate themes we know students LOVE!
Teachers’ Goals and Objectives:
The Welcome Amigos staff is committed to making a wonderful summer camp experience for young students ages 2 - 12. We divide our students according to their age.
At Welcome Amigos we:
- We make sure that each student enjoys the process of learning
- Make learning fun, interesting and engaging
- Teach young students the social skills that help them thrive in life
- Develop verbal communication and leadership skills
- Gain an appreciation of other cultures
- Learn strategies for active exploration, thinking, and reasoning
In addition, our Delfines class will take roles in expanding ideas on each weekly camp theme while exploring LITERACY, MATH, READING COMPREHENSION, and WRITING.

Arte Visionaria (Visionary Art)
Trabajo en Equipo, Todo es más bonito! Let's work together as a team and express our creativity! Join us for an incredible experience where we'll explore the fascinating mundo de arte and learn about famous painters like Frida Khalo, Diego Rivera, and Picasso. Together, we will collaborate to create a breathtaking mural using a variety of unique materials. Get ready to be amazed and inspired!

Escenas Agradables (Enjoyable Scenes) s)
Luces, camara y acción! Get ready to be a part of an amazing play where we will create the perfect setting, design incredible props, and craft the most stunning costumes. We will rehearse our lines, all while learning Spanish, working on our public speaking skills, and building our confidence.

June 24th - 28th
Retratos Sociales en Juego (Social Portraits at Play)
Tus emociones son valiosas! Get ready to have an amazing week as we explore diverse ways to express our feelings and emotions through art, such as drawing and painting. But that's not all, we will also play fun social games that teach valuable lessons about empathy and cooperation. It will be a week packed with social-emotional learning and fun. You won't want to miss it!

(Talented Stylist & Designers)
Ven y Disfruta tu creación! Get ready to express your inner creativity and join us for an exhilarating experience of becoming a stylist, fashion designer, and architect all at once! Create stunning hairstyles and face paintings that will leave everyone in awe. Design unique clothing, accessories, castles, or cars that reflect your amazing imagination. Don't miss this chance to explore your artistic side and have a blast while doing it!

July 8th - 12th
El Mercado de Arte (Artwork Market)
Vamos a vender! Let's create some amazing artwork that will blow minds and fly off the shelves at the art market. We will get creative with different materials and make everything from beautiful bracelets to stunning home decor. And the best part? We will get to play pretend and learn about the movement of money by selling our incredible creations. Get ready to unleash your inner artist and sales pitch!

July 15th - 19th
Paseo en Acción (Travels in Action)
Vamonos de viaje! Pack your suitcase for an adventurous week! We are taking off on a journey to explore the exciting world of travel! Buckle up and let's blast off as we discover the things we need to travel, like passports, clothing, and tickets. We will play-pretend travel to different destinations requested by our young students using different modes of transportation such as cars, planes, and boats. So join us! Súban Todos! (All aboard!)

Diversión al Aire Libre (Outdoor Fun)
Listos Campistas! Get ready for an amazing adventure this week as we explore the great outdoors! We will be hiking through pretend rugged terrain, camping under the stars, and experiencing the thrill of outdoor adventures. We will have a blast while learning all about nature. It's going to be an unforgettable week filled with excitement and wonder!

Porras por Latinoamérica (Cheers for Latin America)
Vamos Latinoamerica! We are taking a trip to Latin America! Come with us to explore the amazing countries of Colombia, Guatemala, Peru, and Mexico! Buckle up and get ready to immerse yourself in the vibrant cultures, delicious food, stunning geography, and fascinating traditions of these amazing places. With a variety of fun activities and projects, you are sure to have an amazing time while gaining an appreciation for the diversity and richness of Latin American cultures!

Sorpresas en el Mundo de la Fantasía
(Surprises in Fantasy World)
En Camino al País de la Fantasía! Brace yourself for an unforgettable week as we take you on a thrilling journey through Fantasyland, Candyland, castles, princesses, and princes! Get ready to discover enchanted forests, magical kingdoms, and royal palaces that will leave you amazed at every turn. Prepare to unleash your imagination, fuel your sense of adventure, and prepare to be completely mesmerized by the greatness of it all!

Juegos del Extranjero (Games from Abroad)
Vamos a jugar! This week, we will be exploring the exciting world of games from different countries and continents. Our little learners will have the opportunity to discover new and exciting games from abroad, as well as games from the five continents of the world. Through these fun games, we will broaden their horizons and cultivate their curiosity about the world around them. We can't wait to see the joy and excitement on their faces as they learn, play, and make new friends through these unique games!

Enrollment
New and returning students to enroll, please submit your online enrollment form.
TUITION INFORMATION AND POLICY:
● Full payment is due within 7 business days after we confirm your enrollment.
TUITION DISCOUNTS:
● Sign up for a minimum of eight sessions and get a 10% discount on your total balance.
● Sibling Discount: Families with two or more children enrolled received a discount of 3% off the tuition of the older child.
Diaper Fee: No discounts apply for a diaper change fee.
NOTE: No Discounts can be combined
NON-REFUNDABLE FEES:
Should you withdraw your child from summer camp at any time, your $300 deposit is non-refundable. After April 15th, 2024 the tuition is non-refundable, however, if you need to make any changes to your camp schedules we can accommodate your request if space allows.
● There is a $5 fee for every five(5) minutes that the child remains overtime after their scheduled pick-up time.
